Standard Tap and Secure

Standard Tap & Secure are a high quality stainless steel screw designed to snap cleanly. They have no locking system on them so are ideally used in conjuction with loctite threadlocker to offer a more secure finish.

TAP: The 1st 5 threads are hardened to create a new thread in a damaged hinge or barrel.

Add loctite threadlocker if required

SECURE: Once the screw is in place, then snap off to the desired length with a needle nose plier - code 763, or tungsten carbide screw cutters - code 809 to secure the screw.
